Experience a unique private tour through one of Faroe Islands’ oldest factories. A family brewery with 136 years of history. Located in the center of Klaksvik, where it all started in 1888. The family invites you in for a guided tour, where you will learn about Føroya Bjór’s history, Faroese brewing traditions and how they have managed to keep up with a fast changing industry. The tour concludes at the historic home of the Waag’s family. The tour includes carefully selected tastings from Einar’s Distillery paired with local delicacies from Café Fríða.

Experience a uniqe private tour through one of Faroe Islands’ oldest factories. A family brewery with 136 years of history. Located in Klaksvik center, where it all started. The family invites you in for a special tour, where you will learn about Faroese brewing traditions and how they have managed to keep up with a fast changing industry. In fact, not only keeping up with a fast changing industry, but continuously developing new and award-winning products, as well as perfecting their brewing legacy. Complemented by Faroese tapas and additional samplings from Einar’s Distillery

- This tour includes alcoholic beverages, which by consumption will exceed the legal alcohol limit for driving in the Faroe Islands, so please do not bring your own car.
- This tour includes a private guide.
- Local snack is included during the tasting. Please inform us of allergies 3 days prior, so we can try to adjust the snack to your needs, as best possible.
- An indoor experience.
- Dinner and drink is included at Waag family home.

Dinner at historic home of the Waag’s family
Café Fríðs serves the much beloved fish soup. In addition to being perfectly creamy and filled with puréed vegetables and fresh herbs, it’s served with an appetizing filet of local cod or haddock (depends on the catch) and fresh baked beer bread.
Gluten free, vegan and dairy free options are available (however please give notice at least 3 days upon arrival).
