TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions you use when booking from Fríða

The events and trips are arranged by Café Fríða in cooperation with local partners/businesses. All parties included in our trips are based locally in Klaksvík.

Agreements are binding on all parties once payment has been made. By making the payment the client also confirms and accepts the terms and conditions of the product purchased.

When payment is made guest will receive conformation mail and tickets, the ticket states everything included in the trip.

Payment is made by using credit cards, via our onlineshop payment we trust clearhouse.
Making payment via credit card abroad – a credit card fee equal to the fee charged by NETS / Teller.

BOOKING TERMS

Required information from client: Name, email, phone number
100% of total fee is required upon booking. All taxes are included.

Children

For childrens discount, it is possibility to change and adjust the drinks and menu, for children under 12 for this please contact organizer Fríða at frida@frida.fo Please state your order nr. when you write to us.

ALLERGIES OR ANOTHER SPECIAL REQUEST

If you have special needs or allergies you wish attended please contact organizer no later then 2 weeks prior to arrival / tour start. Please state your order nr. when you write to us. frida@frida.fo

CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be made in writing, email to frida@frida.fo. 
If you cancel an tour packages, Frida.fo reserves the right to keep the below confirmation fee:
• 50% of tour price, if cancelled formally 60+ days prior to the tour start day.
• 100% of tour price, if cancelled formally within 60 days prior to the tour start day.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Your safety is our highest concern. Outdoor activities can carry an inherent risk of injury, which cannot be eliminated. One must accept that although we do our utmost to reduce risk to an acceptable level, accidents can always occur. Neither Fríða, our partners, nor its staff can be held responsible for any incidents or accidents occurring during its trips.

We recommend that all participants have a valid travel insurance. If, for any reason, an incident is not covered by travel insurance, the responsibility remains with the participant to cover such expenses.

PRICE OF TRIP
The basic price of trip includes the services stated on ticket for the tour in question. Prices will not be changed after payment is made.

FAILURE TO APPEAR/UNUSED SERVICES ETC.
If client fail to cancel a trip and/or fail to appear at the time and place stated on the ticket for start of event, or if client is unable to complete the trip due to the failure from client, the organiser is entitled to charge the full price of the trip concerned. If client fail to appear for trips or fail to use the services that have been ordered in any other way, no compensation for such unused services may be claimed. (kanska sigi eg tað sama umaftur her)

ARRIVEL TIMES FOR THE EVENTS ARE STATED ON THE TICKETS
The times stated in the tickets and travel timetable are always local times. Contact Café Fríða immediately if these times differ from the original booking/confirmation, or if any unexpected delay occurs.

COMPLAINTS
Any complaints during the trip must be made to organizer frida@frida.fo please state your order nr.

The failure to submit a complaint normally means loss of the right to any subsequent claim for compensation.

FORCE MAJEURE – CLAUSE
Parties cannot be held responsible for the consequences of force majeure, which in the context of this Agreement include (but are not limited to): meteorological circumstances, technical failures of aircraft, ferries and other means of transport, (civil) war or (civil) war threat, government regulations and circumstances that could endanger the health and / or safety of passenger (s).

The organiser accepts no liability for changes, delays etc. owing to breach of contract, unofficial strikes, weather conditions or any circumstances beyond the control of the organiser.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
During trips, personal belongings are entirely at the participant’s risk and frida.fo shall hold no liability for possible loss or damage.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are saved on your computer, when you visit a site. If you delete these, please find instructions for your specific browser to do so. If you do not delete these manually in our browser they are saved for 1 year. cookies serve the purpose of making it easier for you to use a website.

Analytics

We have installed Google analytics and Google recaptcha on our site. Google Analytics serves the purpose of enabling us to modify our site to better suit visitors interests and needs. You can reject Google Analytics tracking from our cookie and privacy banner. We use google recaptcha to hinder spammy emails and comments.

Who we share your data with

When you make a purchase on frida.fo.fo your personal details for that purchase will be stored on Quick Pays servers or Paypal’s servers, depending on which payment option you choose. If you wish to have this information forwarded to you please write to us on frida@frida.fo. According to Faroese law, we are obligated to store any purchase information for a minimum of 5 years. The information is used for book-keeping and taxation.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We have installed a plugin that monitors login and attempts to hack our site. If we get notified of any breach we will inform you immediately and let you know which steps we are taking to resolve the issue and how we are protecting our personal data.

As a responsible establishment we do not make any automated decisions on your behalf nor do we sell your information to any 3rd parties.
